About the movie

Standing on the Shoulders of Kitties: The Bubbles and the Shitrockers Story is a 2024 Canadian musical comedy film following Trailer Park Boys fan-favorite Bubbles as he forms his country/folk band The Shitrockers, lands a dream European tour opening for Billy Bob Thornton and the Boxmasters, and then gets kicked off the road, forced to busk through cities like Prague and Amsterdam to survive. With Randy as their hapless roadie and Ricky and Julian trying to rescue them, the movie turns Bubbles’s quest to play real rock shows into a chaotic, profanity-filled adventure about friendship, failure, and finally recording his heartfelt anthem “Standing on the Shoulders of Kitties.”
