About the movie

It Comes at Night is a 2017 American psychological horror film written and directed by Trey Edward Shults. Secure inside a remote house deep in the woods while a mysterious, highly contagious disease ravages the outside world, Paul lives with his wife Sarah and teenage son Travis under strict survival rules and a locked red door that must never be opened at night.
When a desperate stranger named Will arrives claiming he has a wife and young son who need help, Paul reluctantly agrees to let the family move in after a tense vetting process. As the two families attempt to coexist, fear of infection, strange nocturnal events, and Travis’s nightmares fuel growing paranoia and mistrust, leading to devastating choices that reveal the true horror may come from within rather than from whatever stalks the darkness outside.
